Security at Foxuma
Foxuma — Version 1, effective October 28, 2026.
Your business runs on your customer lists, your quotes, and your job records. Here is exactly how Foxuma looks after them.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored on a server in Ontario, Canada. It does not move to other countries. Every connection to Foxuma runs over HTTPS, the same encrypted connection your bank uses, with Cloudflare providing network security in front of the server.
Who can see it
Only your own team. Each company on Foxuma is kept strictly separate from every other company — one company cannot see another company's data, and this separation has been tested in both directions. Inside your company, you control who sees what: Foxuma uses role-based permissions, so, for example, a shop-floor account does not see your money pages. These permissions passed an independent access-control test.
Foxuma also keeps an Activity Log inside the app. Your Admin and IT users can see who viewed or changed a record, and when.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for marketing. The only outside services involved are Cloudflare, which carries and protects the network traffic, and Google, which is used only if you choose to connect your own Google account.
AI and your data
Foxuma's built-in assistant, Fox, runs on a model hosted on the Foxuma server. Your business data is never sent to a cloud AI service, never used to train AI models, and never leaves the server to answer a question.
Backups and export
The database is backed up automatically every night, and we have tested a full restore from backup to prove it works. You can also export your own data in full (CSV and JSON) at any time — your records are yours, in a format you can open without us.
Leaving Foxuma
If you close your account, you first export everything — the export is yours to keep. After the account closes, we delete your data from our systems within 30 business days, as set out in our Terms.
If something goes wrong
If we ever confirm a security breach that affects your data, we will tell you without undue delay — our target is within 72 hours of confirming it — explain what happened, what data was involved, and what we are doing about it. Our commitments on this are written into our Terms and our Data Processing Addendum.

Roadmap note (clearly marked, not a current claim): independent security certification (such as SOC 2) is a future step for Foxuma as the service grows. We do not hold any such certification today.

我们不会出售您的数据，也不会出于营销目的分享您的数据。涉及的外部服务只有 Cloudflare——负责承载并保护网络流量——以及 Google；Google 仅在您选择连接您自己的 Google 账号时才会用到。
AI 与您的数据
Foxuma 的内置助手小狐狸运行在托管于 Foxuma 服务器上的模型上。您的业务数据绝不会发送给任何云端 AI 服务，绝不会用于训练 AI 模型，回答问题时也绝不会离开服务器。
备份与导出
数据库每天晚上自动备份，我们还完整测试过从备份恢复，以证明备份可用。您也可以随时完整导出您自己的数据（CSV 和 JSON）——您的记录归您所有，格式无需通过我们也能打开。
离开 Foxuma
如果您关闭账号，您先导出全部数据——导出的数据归您保留。账号关闭后，我们会在 30 个工作日内从我们的系统中删除您的数据，具体以《服务条款》为准。
如果出现问题
如果我们确认发生影响您数据的安全泄露，我们会不无故拖延地通知您——我们的目标是在确认后 72 小时内——说明发生了什么、涉及哪些数据，以及我们正在采取的措施。我们的相关承诺已写入《服务条款》和《数据处理附录》。
